Review of new track “Pyramid Eyes”

by odist on November 18, 2011

“…..the track certainly finds the band sounding razor sharp and focused with a slew of serpentine guitar lines that coil themselves tightly around drummer Sarah Wilson’s frantic beats. There’s more of a post-metal influence — think Russian Circles or Isis — than anything I’ve heard from them in the past, but the more aggressive approach suits them well. It’s dense, dramatic and utterly potent. For a group whose music is often about complexity of movement and dynamic shifts in mood and tone, this is an impressive leap forward.” —- LatestDisgrace.com
